Hispania

Synopsis

Hispania, from Baroque to Flamenco is a concert in which Manolo Carrasco takes a tour of Spanish music throughout the centuries.

Starting with the Baroque and continuing with the Classical, Spanish nationalist music, Popular music and reaching Flamenco.

In this concert the spectator can see the evolution of Spanish music composed by the great Spanish and foreign authors, starting with Father A. Soler and his sonata in D, L. Boccherini with his well-known Night Music from the streets of Madrid, La Spanish Rhapsody by F.Listz, La Suite Española by I.Albeñiz, Andaluza by E. Granados, La Danza del Fuego by M. de Falla and The compilation of popular music by F.G.Lorca (La Tarara, El Café de Chinitas, Los cuatro Muleros, etc…) until arriving at flamenco where M.Carrasco in his suite Al-Andaluz interprets some of the most representative styles of flamenco such as Alegrías, Buleria, Siguirilla, etc…).
